Privacy Policy

      The short version: Motjour stores your learning data locally on your device. If you choose email delivery, we store only your email address. We never sell your data, never advertise, and never share your data with third parties except our payment processor (RevenueCat) and our hosting provider (AWS).
    

1. Who we are

Motjour is operated by 3D-Prototype Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Nottingham, UK). Contact: support@3iapps.com

2. What data we collect

Email delivery subscribers (optional):

Email address — used solely to deliver your daily word
Language preference — so we send the right language

App users — stored locally on your device (not on our servers):

Word history and learning progress
Streak count and notification preferences
Language and difficulty settings

Optional cloud sync (Pro feature, opt-in only):

Email address (magic link authentication)
Streak count, word IDs seen, language codes active

3. What we never collect

Your name, address, or personal details
Payment information (handled entirely by RevenueCat)
Device identifiers or location data
Behavioural tracking or advertising identifiers
Any data from children under 13

4. How we use your data

Your email address is used only to: send your daily vocabulary word, send a confirmation email when you sign up, and process unsubscribe requests. We do not use it for marketing, profiling, or any other purpose.

5. Third-party processors

RevenueCat — handles all subscription payments. They process billing data independently. See RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) — our hosting infrastructure. Your email is stored in AWS DynamoDB (us-west-2, Oregon).

6. Your rights (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)

Access: Request a copy of any data we hold about you
Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data — email support@3iapps.com or use the data deletion form
Correction: Update incorrect data
Portability: Export your word history as CSV from the app Settings
Unsubscribe: Every email contains an unsubscribe link. Instant, no questions asked.

7. Data retention

Email subscribers: your data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. We delete subscriber records within 30 days of an unsubscribe request. Locally-stored app data is controlled entirely by you and is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear app data.

8. Cookies

Our website does not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies. We use no third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel). The website is entirely static HTML.

9. Children

Motjour is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us immediately.
