Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 March 2026

1. Acceptance

By using Motjour (the app, website, or email service) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Service description

Motjour delivers one vocabulary word per day in your chosen language via app notification, in-app display, and optionally by email. The service is provided by 3D-Prototype Ltd, registered in England and Wales.

3. Free tier

The free tier provides one language, beginner level vocabulary, and daily delivery. The free tier is free indefinitely — we will not retrospectively charge for features that are currently free.

4. Pro subscription

5. Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Google Play or Apple App Store per their standard policies. UK users retain statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to a refund for digital content that does not conform to its description.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or decompile the app, scrape or automate requests to the API, attempt to circumvent subscription verification, or use the service for any unlawful purpose.

7. Content

Vocabulary words are generated by AI and reviewed for accuracy. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all words, translations, or example sentences are error-free. Motjour is a language learning aid, not a dictionary or professional translation service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 3D-Prototype Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Motjour. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify Pro subscribers of material changes by email.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
